Magical Santa Fe, New Mexico's capital, sits in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. This vibrant city is renowned for its Pueblo-style architecture, creative arts, sumptuous cuisine, and 400-year-old history. Founded as a Spanish colony in 1610, it still boasts a traditional Spanish plaza. Here, local artisans sell beautiful handmade items. In the historic district, crooked streets wind past adobe landmarks including the Palace of the Governors; Loretto Chapel; and the bustling art districts of Canyon Road and the Railyard. Spend a day in Taos, one of America's most famous art colonies and home to Taos Pueblo. We will also visit Georgia O'Keeffe's home and studio in Abiquiú as well as Ghost Ranch, depicted in many of her paintings.
